The award was for the best performance overall in the BSc (Hons) International Financial Services degree. The degree, awarded by the University of Buckingham, was designed specifically for the international financial services industry, and is completed by studying four 9-week terms over 2 years, covering the academic content of a standard three-year degree in that time. Students on the degree benefit from work placements at leading financial services organisations on Thursdays and Fridays for the duration of the degree through the Undergraduate Employment Programme.
Connie Clark, Managing Director of Jordans Trust Company (Jersey) Limited says:
We congratulate Trystan on his achievement. This award celebrates excellence within our field of international corporate services and we are proud to have our name connected with it.
The programme has been instrumental in providing relevant industry experience to students which complements their studies in the first half of the week and aids them with the financing of their degree.
The graduation ceremony of the 15 new alumni was held at the Parish Church of St Helier on Friday 30 October and was officiated by Dr Frances Robinson, the Head of Collaborations at the University of Buckingham. Trystan graduated with a First Class Honours award, and particularly excelled in the Wealth Management, Taxation and the Role of Offshore Financial Centres modules. He was also selected to make the Valedictorian speech at the graduation.
We were very honoured to be sponsoring the Jersey International Business School.
"The performance has been impressive, with comprehensive advice and guidance".
