Seychelles IBC Incorporations
The International Business Company (IBC) concept is based on flexible user-friendly corporate legislation and proportionate administration and filing requirements. Seychelles IBCs are incorporated under the Seychelles International Business Companies Act 1994.
The Seychelles International Business Company (IBC) is arguably the world's most user-friendly offshore company.
The benefits of forming a Seychelles IBC are:
The annual licence fee of $100p.a is one of the lowest of annual licence fees in the world.
Details of directors or shareholders need not be publicly filed.
No accounts filing requirements, although the Seychelles IBC must keep appropriate accounting records.
Seychelles IBCs can be "exported" to other offshore centres (e.g. the BVI, Cyprus or Jersey) in the unlikely event of civil unrest, war or economic emergency.
Foreign IBCs can be "imported" into the Seychelles from other offshore locations.
*In order to comply with section 65(1) of the International Business Companies Act 1994 the company must keep, or cause to be kept, proper accounting records:
(i) that are sufficient to show and correctly explain the company's transactions;
(ii) to enable the financial position of the company to be determined with reasonable accuracy at any time; and
(iii) to enable for accounts of the company to be prepared.
Jordans Trust Company (Seychelles) Limited is licensed and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority.
