Accounting Services Manager
Nicola joined Jordans Accounting Services in March 2009 having previously worked for seven years in accountancy practices specialising in audit and charity accounts. Nicola is a qualified chartered accountant holding a practising certificate and more recently qualified as a Trust and Estates practitioner.
Nicola manages our Accounting Services department and as part of her role she controls a portfolio of clients for accounts and corporate tax, providing advice to existing clients on their group structure and tax efficiencies and also liaising with new clients to provide advice and quotes for more bespoke services.
Charlene Joined Jordans Accounting Services in March 2015 as a senior accountant. She trained with a medium sized accountancy practice in 2001, and since then has worked for several different sized accountancy firms. She is now a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants.
With nearly 15 years in the industry, Charlene has extensive knowledge of accounting and taxation. Her experience enables her to provide an excellent level of service to clients, helping them solve complex accounting and taxation problems.
Charlene's client portfolio in Jordans Trust Company covers a wide variety of UK and international business. Charlene looks after statutory accounts and management accounts, advises her clients on a broad range of tax affairs, including corporation, partnership and personal tax, ensuring that her clients are kept up to date with any changes in regulation.
Charlene's fluent Mandarin skills continue to be an invaluable asset to Jordans Trust Company by introducing the firm to key clients in Asia and allowing the firm to build stronger business relationships.
After working in the automotive industry, Claire joined Jordans Trust Company in March 2012. Claire is a fully qualified ACCA and AAT accountant who completed her training whilst working at Jordans Trust Company. Within the Accounting Services team, Claire is one of our Senior Accountants.
The areas of work Claire deals mostly with include: statutory accounts preparation; corporate tax returns; management accounts and personal tax. As well as tending current client's needs, Claire also dedicates a lot of time to building up relationships with potential clients.
Within Claire's large portfolio of clients, she works with various international as well as local companies, ranging from sole traders, LLPs and Limited Companies.
Claire's commitment to her role has seen her flourish. Her personality, coupled with her expertise means that her clients feel fully confident leaving their accounts in Claire's capable hands.
Before joining the Accounting Services team in March 2016 as a Department Administrator, Julia's previous role was with another company in the Jordans group, Jordan Publishing. During her six years as a Customer Services Administrator at Jordan Publishing, Julia's role involved data processing; taking orders over the phone and through email as well as liaising with accountants, solicitors and barristers.
In her current role, Julia supports the team by taking care of the day-to-day administration that comes with running a busy accounting practice. This also involves meeting client deadlines for their accounts, managing the database and processing orders / enquiries. She also maintains close working relationships with the Corporate Governance teams for both Jordans Trust Company and Jordans Corporate Law.
Julia plays an essential role within the Accounting Services team. Her methodical approach and ability to multi-task means the whole team trust her to keep all administration in check.
Katia joined Jordans Trust Company in August 2014 as part of our Accounting Services team. She is currently a Trainee Accountant and is studying for her ACCA qualification with us.
Katia's role has a particular focus on payroll, management accounts, VAT and bank transfers.
Owen started working for Jordans Trust Company in September 2014 as a Management Accountant. Prior to joining the Accounting Services team at Jordans Trust Company, Owen held a number of accounting roles in the retail and hospitality industry. He is currently studying for his ACCA qualification.
Owen looks after the accounts for many of our UK clients (from SMEs to larger organisations). His areas of expertise include: management accounts; statutory accounts; VAT and banking.
Owen is a key contributor to content creation within the team. He has written many articles which keep our clients informed and up-to-date with the latest developments in the accounting world.
Stephen joined Jordans Trust Company's Accounting Services team in February 2015 as a Senior Accountant. Prior to this role, Stephen worked as an Accountant for a multinational professional services company for a few years after graduating from Kingston University London with a degree in Law. He is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
Stephen's client portfolio includes a range of owner managed businesses, SMEs and UK based subsidiaries of international groups. His experience of working with many different sized businesses means he has a wealth of practical knowledge that he can apply to a range of company situations. He looks after statutory and management accounts, tax compliance and returns for his clients.
Clients of Stephen's are in safe hands - he is accurate, trustworthy and takes pride in providing excellent personal service to clients.
Sue joined Jordans Trust Company in April 1999. Sue is a Senior Accountant within the Accounting Services team and is also a Principal of the practice (her working days are Wednesday and Thursday).
Sue is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a practicing certificate, and has a BA Hons degree in French / English. She trained with Ernst and Young in London and qualified in 1981. She then worked for a small firm of accountants in Marlborough for four years.
Sue prepares accounts for mainly UK companies, plus many BVI companies. As a Principal, she reviews and signs off working paper files for accounts preparation and monthly payroll files, and also signs the Accountants Report in the accounts. She works closely with all members of the Accounting Services team, as well as being in close contact with the Corporate Governance team in Jordans Trust Company and of our sister company, Jordans Corporate Law.
As new requests from clients are received, Sue is on hand to help. With over 27 years of experience under her belt, you can trust that Sue will do a thorough job of looking after your (or your client's) accounts.
