With fifteen years' experience in the international trust and corporate industry, Richard joined Jordans Trust Company (Cyprus) Limited in 2012, as Managing Director, having previously managed a similar operation for the Sovereign Group since 2008.
Originally graduating in Business and Finance, Richard became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2009, after completing a Diploma in International Trust Management.
In 2016, Richard became an International Tax Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, having successfully concluded the respected Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT). Subjects covered include international double taxation agreements, EU cross border taxation and VAT.
During his career, Richard has operated in markets as far and wide as Spain, Russia and Brazil, and has consulted clients on a variety of cross-border solutions involving such key jurisdictions as the BVI, Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Cyprus and the UK.
Nowadays, as well as managing a range of companies in Cyprus, Richard's knowledge in international and EU tax legislation proves invaluable when structuring for any modern international business or individual entrepreneur.
Richard has contributed to various publications, including Jordans' own website-blogs on Cyprus and other international tax matters.
In his spare time, as well as enjoying travelling and scuba-diving, Richard is also an enthusiastic runner, successfully completing the London Marathon in 2013 and raising money for charity.
